Beautiful walks can be enjoyed from the doorstep; following the river will bring you to the ancient Bolton Abbey.
These unique and individually built cabins provide a special retreat whatever the time of year.
Great break. We had a weekend here whilst attending a wedding at Bolton Abbey. It is quite close to that venue. The cabins are lovely. Beds very comfortable. Views beautiful. We were in Bears Den. The hot tub was very private. We had breakfast at the onsite restaurant one day which was fab, with free coffee from tokens provided. The welcoming orosecco, cake, milk, butter and bread much appreciated. Very professionally run.
Warm friendly good choice on the menu, reasonably priced
Amazing place - can’t fault it. We had a lovely warm welcome with a bottle of prosecco, home made cake and treats for the dog! The location has beautiful views, it’s very dog friendly, there are nice walks along the river, everyone was very friendly, the lodge was gorgeous and the sauna was a bonus! Only issue we had was when we were in the hot tub around 11pm on Saturday night we were probably chatting a bit too loud without realising and a man was very rude to us. He could have just asked nicely if we could be quiet but instead we were shouted at. We didn’t want to cause any bother so apologised and went inside. We didn’t let this ruin the rest of our time there.
