Our Story
Welcome to Olicana Park, we love it here, and we’re sure you will too.
In early 2016 we acquired Olicana Park, sited on the banks of the river Wharfe. The site had been a caravan park for many years. In need of some love, we knew that we could create a home away from home for our guests, one which would keep them coming back time after time. All that was needed was some elbow grease and a vision.
Our vision for Olicana extended above the existing caravans. The site has dramatically changed and is (in our humble opinion) a vast improvement on the previous incarnation. We saw that there could be three distinct parts to the park, after much planning we knew this was going to take the form of four cottages, five luxury cabins and the twenty-nine static caravans plus a fully fitted cabin cafe bistro.
How we got here
To get the park to where we wanted it to be, we knew it would take some hard work and serious attention to detail. We rolled up our shirt sleeves, donned our hard hats and got to work. We initially redeveloped the cottages first, working with local tradesman, furnishers, interior designers, we created four beautiful bolt-holes. Next came the luxury cabins and the statics, requiring a lot of groundwork, we turned Olicana into a giant mud pie. Once footings for both the cabins and the caravans we’re ready, we started the task of building the cabins and developing the infrastructure to take the caravans. Our luxury cabins are created right here in the UK by a bespoke manufacturer who carefully designed, constructed and assembled the cabins.
Just over a year later, we opened the doors to our first cabin guests and welcomed our caravan seasonaires.

How we got here
Olicana Park enjoys the benefit of being in a hidden away corner of the village, down by the riverside, while also being a short stroll from Addingham’s enviable village centre, which includes some well-renowned pubs and restaurants, serving excellent food and real ale.
Beautiful walks can be enjoyed from the doorstep; following the river will bring you to the ancient Bolton Abbey where you can stop for a cream tea before heading back. There’s also an excellent golf course within easy reach of Addingham. Nearby towns and villages worth a visit include Skipton, Ilkley which is ideal for shopping, while glorious Malham and Grassington offer beautiful, limestone scenery a short drive away. For the more energetic the bike riding and walking opportunities to be found in the surrounding area are excellent.
